Department Co-Chair, Adult Education, Saddleback College OASIS Program

Dr. Stacy Eldred serves on OC Navigators’ Board of Advisers. Dr. Eldred has nearly sixteen years of professional teaching experience working alongside adult students with disabilities. Dr. Eldred is a professor and Department Chair for the OASIS Program and serves adult students with disabilities who are pursuing post-secondary education opportunities at Saddleback College. Dr. Eldred earned a master’s degree in Special Education from Chapman University and holds an Education Specialist credential. She worked in K-12 public education as an Adult Transition Teacher as well as a Supported Employment and Transition Specialist. She has extensive experience preparing course materials and developing curriculum for a diverse group of students with varying needs and abilities. Dr. Eldred holds a Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis in Disability Studies from Chapman University. Her research focuses on inclusive practices in higher education.
