At OC Navigators, we offer a person-centered adult day program designed to support individuals in living more independently, confidently, and meaningfully. Our services focus on four key areas of growth:
Self-Advocacy, Community Integration, Vocational Training, and Daily Living & Self-Care.
Each participant follows a highly individualized plan based on their interests, strengths, and goals. Through guided activities, compassionate staff support, and engaging real-world experiences, our program empowers adults to build practical life skills, connect with others, and gain confidence in their everyday lives.

At OC Navigators, we believe true independence includes being part of a thriving community. Our Community Integration program helps adults build confidence and real-world social skills through engaging, meaningful outings and public participation.
What We Offer:
Local outings to parks, libraries, and shops
Volunteering opportunities
Community safety and navigation skills
Peer interaction and team activities
Budgeting for real-life situations (e.g. small purchases)
How It Works:
Participants take part in scheduled trips and activities, with staff guidance to ensure safety and support. Each experience is designed to be engaging, confidence-building, and socially enriching.
Participant-Centered Planning:
Individuals help choose their activities based on interests, comfort level, and personal goals. Some may explore new hobbies; others may revisit favorite places.
I never thought I’d see my brother making friends and going out independently. Now he looks forward to his outings every week!

Whether it’s volunteering, preparing for employment, or learning responsibility, OC Navigators helps participants explore work and discover their abilities in a supportive environment.
What We Offer:
Task-based skill-building (folding, sorting, assembling)
Soft skills (teamwork, time management, punctuality)
Volunteer assignments or mock workstations
Resume and interview prep (for those ready)
Positive reinforcement and rewards-based learning
How It Works:
We simulate job tasks and create structured work routines that mirror real-life environments. With encouragement and repetition, participants gain confidence in their abilities.
Participant-Centered Planning:
Each participant’s plan reflects their interests and comfort level—some prefer hands-on tasks, others excel in communication or service. We meet them where they are.
My daughter can now follow a checklist and complete tasks on her own. She’s proud of what she accomplishes—and so are we!

At OC Navigators, we believe every adult has the right to speak up, make decisions, and shape their own future. Our Self-Advocacy program helps participants build the confidence, communication skills, and self-awareness needed to express their needs, protect their rights, and live with greater independence.
What We Offer:
Person-centered communication training
Expressing wants and needs appropriately
Decision-making and setting personal goals
Understanding personal information and identity (ID, address, DOB)
Emotional awareness and social relationships
Basic financial literacy and budgeting
Technology skills for independence (email, devices, social media)
How It Works:
Participants learn through real-world practice, guided conversation, and hands-on activities. We encourage each person to explore their identity, build their voice, and gain the tools they need to speak up for themselves in any setting.
Participant-Centered Planning:
Each participant sets their own self-advocacy goals through the ISP process. From learning how to request support to budgeting for a purchase or emailing a job lead, the journey is guided by their personal interests and needs.
When my daughter learned to speak up for herself, everything changed. She’s making choices and owning them—and she’s proud of that.
